Credentials
I attended the Bronx High School of Science, and went on to receive a B.A. from the University of Chicago, with specials honors in psychology. After a year of research at the Rockefeller Institute, I received a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology in 1975. This degree was awarded from the Ferkauf Graduate School, Yeshiva University, which is affiliated with the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
In 1977, I received my New York State License in Psychology. In 1981, I received my Certificate in Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy from the William Alanson White Institute. Since that time, I have been in full time private practice. In 2004, I became the Director of the Sexual Abuse Service at the William Alanson Institute, where I also teach and supervise. In 2007, I was appointed to the position of Supervising Analyst.
Credentials are necessary but not sufficient. Each person is unique and must find a clinician who is skillful and compatible.
